Dengan google kerja menjadi mudah, ini ada sedikit tentang Perangkat Keras Komputer dan Jenisnya yang saya rangkum dari berbagai sumber, kebetulan yang akan di share hanya perangkat keras komputer untuk pemakaian pribadi bukan untuk pemakaian kantoran:

A. CPU (Central Processing Unit)
Central Processing Unit jika diterjemahkan dalam bahasa Indonesia berarti Unit Pengolah Pusat. Di dalam CPU terdapat berbagai macam perangkat keras yang diperlukan untuk menjalankan komputer. Perangkat keras yang biasanya terdapat pada CPU, adalah:
A.1. Hardisk

Harddisk drive (HDD) merupakan tempat menyimpan data pada CPU. Jika hardisk dibuka, maka di dalamnya terlihat piringan logam sebagai tempat menulis data. Kecepatan putarannya bervariasi. Adayang 5400 putaran per menit bahkan ada yang sampai 7200 putaran per menit. Kemampuan sebuah hardisk biasanya ditentukan oleh banyaknya data yang bisa disimpan. Besarnya bervariasi, ada yang 1,2 Gigabyte (GB), 80 GB, 160 GB, dan 320 GB. Satu GB sama dengan 1000 Megabyte, sedangkan 1 Megabyte sama dengan 1000 Kilobyte.

A.2. Floppy Disk Drive

Ukuran data yang dapat disimpan saat ini bisa mencapai 700MB atau 700 juta bita. CD-ROM bersifat read only (hanya dapat dibaca, dan tidak dapat ditulisi). Untuk dapat membaca isi CD-ROM, alat utamayang diperlukan adalah CD Drive. Perkembangan CD-ROM terkini memungkinkan CD dapat ditulisi berulang kali (Re Write / RW) yang lebih dikenal dengan nama CD-RW.

A.4. Prosesor
Nah, inilah Brain (otaknya) komputer. Prosesor berfungsi untuk memproses semua perhitungan yang harus dilakukan oleh komputer. Kekuatan prosesor diukur dari frekuensinya, seperti 550 MHz (Mega Hertz) sampai saat ini sudah ada yang mencapai 1,4 GHz (Giga Hertz). Jika komputer dihidupkan, maka prosesor akan langsung bekerja dan cepat naik suhunya. Oleh karena itu setiap prosesor saat ini sudah dilengkapi dengan besi penyalur panas (heat sink) dan kipas pendingin. Saat ini prosesoryang banyak digunakan adalah Intel, AMD dan IBM.

A.5. Memori
Memori dikenal juga dengan sebutan RAM (Random Acces Memory). Gunanya adalah untuk penyimpanan data sementara sewaktu digunakan oleh prosesor. Jikakomputer di matikan, maka data di RAM akan hilang. Kecepatan membaca data RAM ini lebih cepat jika dibandingkan dengan Harddisk.

A.6. Kartu Grafis (VGA Card)
Kartu VGA (Video Graphic Adapter) berguna untuk menerjemahkan output (keluaran) komputer ke monitor. Untuk menggambar / design graphic ataupun untuk bermain game, kita perlu VGA yang tinggi kekuatannya. Saat ini ada VGA dengan memori 16, 32 hingga 128 Megabyte. Jenisnya yang terkenal adalah GeForce buatan perusahaan Nvidia.

A.7. Kartu Suara (Soundcard)
Perangkat ini berguna untuk mengeluarkan suara. Kalau kita sedang mendengar musik ataupun bermain game, perangkat ini sangat bermanfaat. Suaranya bisa stereo, surround (berputar) bahkan suara 3 dimensi, sehingga kita seolah-olah berada ditempat kejadian. Tetapi perangkat ini kurang lengkap jika tidak ada speaker. Karena itu kita perlu menghubungkan speaker dengan soundcardyang telah terpasang dengan sebuah kabel yang disambung langsung ke soundcard.

A.8. Motherboard
Motherboard atau disebut juga dengan Papan Induk berfungsi untuk tempat semua alat utama CPU yang telah disebutkan di atas. Bentuk motherboard seperti sebuah papan sirkuit elektronik. Motherboard merupakan tempat berlalu lalangnya data. Motherboard menghubungkan semua peralatankomputer dan membuatnya bekerja sama sehingga komputer berjalan dengan lancar.

B. Perangkat Input Komputer
B.1. Keyboard

Keyboards memungkinkan seorang user untuk memasukkan perintah dan data ke dalam system komputer.
B.2. Mouse

Mouse adalah peralatan input yang mempunyai sejumlah tombol. Perpindahan dengan tangan sepanjang permukaan mouse, akan merubah posisi tampilan pada layar yang merefleksikan perpindahan tersebut. Computer Can Translate the Ancient Language

Thanks to a system created by Regina Barzilay and colleagues at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a computer can act as a translator of ancient languages.

Opera The Fastest Browser Officially Released

Lisensi memproduksi dan menjual diberikan kepada PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Inti) untuk jangka waktu lima tahun. Bentuk kerja sama ini diharapkan berkembang untuk hasil-hasil riset BPPT lainnya.

Presiden Direktur PT Inti Irfan Setiaputra mengatakan, teknologi perisalah menggantikan peran notulis dalam suatu rapat atau sidang. Kecepatan penulisan suara dapat diperoleh seketika dengan tingkat keakurasian 85 persen, bisa diupayakan menjadi 100 persen melalui proses perbaikan dari hasil rekaman yang tersedia.

Penjualan perisalah rapat tersebut dibagi menjadi sistem tunggal dengan harga Rp 200 juta per unit, sedangkan sistem multi seharga Rp 500 juta per unit. Perbedaannya terletak pada sistem multi yang bisa untuk agenda sidang yang tidak terbatas jumlahnya.

PT Inti sudah membayarkan di muka Rp 2 miliar kepada BPPT untuk hak eksklusif dan lisensi produksi dan penjualan perisalah ini. Rekayasa teknologi informasi ini dirintis Oskar Riandi dari Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi BPPT. Menurut Oskar, pengambilan model ucapan sudah mencapai 190.000 kata dari hampir semua dialek suku bangsa di Indonesia. Jumlah ini sudah cukup meningkat dari sebelumnya sejumlah 60.000 kata.

Peluncuran teknologi perisalah rapat ini direncanakan pada 19 Mei 2010 di Jakarta. Pengembangan lebih lanjut ialah pada proses pengidentifikasian narasumber dengan memasukkan karakter suara.

Saat ini, identifikasi narasumber bergantung pada identifikasi mikrofon yang digunakan. Inovasi lebih lanjut, pada pengidentifikasian karakter suara narasumber. Teknologi ini sudah diuji coba untuk mengubah suara dari orasi menjadi teks secara seketika. New Facebook Tool Untuk Keamanan Account Anda

Facebook telah meluncurkan sebuah tool terbaru yang akan memberitahu pengguna jika account mereka telah diakses oleh perangkat yang tidak sah. Tool terbaru Facebook ini akan mengirim pengguna pemberitahuan jika account anda diakses dari perangkat yang tidak dikenal ataupun dikases oleh orang lain.

Fitur privasi Facebook terbaru ini memungkinkan pengguna menyetujui perangkat yang biasa kita gunakan untuk login ke Facebook. "Misalnya, Anda dapat menyimpan komputer di rumah, sekolah atau kerja komputer, dan telepon selular Anda. Setelah Anda melakukan ini, setiap kali seseorang log in ke account Anda dari perangkat yang tidak dalam daftar ini, kami akan meminta orang tersebut untuk nama perangkat, "jelas Facebook perangkat lunak insinyur Lev Popov, di posting blog.

Sejarah Terbentuknya Suzuki Satria FU 150 apakah anda pecinta motor bebek sport? Selayaknya anda tahu cerita tentang asal usul motor bebek paling "Sakti" saat ini. Tak lain dan tak bukan ada lah Suzuki Satria FU 150. Mari kita walai sedikit tentang Suzuki Satria FU 150, bebek "sakti" ini adalah motor sport moped keluaran Suzuki. Satria FU 150 bisa dibilang motor paling laku di Indonesia saat ini. Lalu bagai mana kisah latar belakangnya diciptakannya sang Hyper Underbone ini?

Nenek moyangnya Suzuki Satria FU 150:

Suzuki RC100 merupakan generasi kedua Suzuki RC yang beredar di Indonesia dan basis awal terbentuknya Satria FU. Seiring dengan regenerasi yang dilakukan oleh Yamaha dengan mengeluarkan seri V100E (Yamaha Alfa), Suzuki pun merilis type RC100. Sesuai namanya, kapasitas motor dua tak ini adalah 100cc (atau 99cc tepatnya) dengan menggunakan basis mesin yang sama dengan RC80. Motor jenis RC100 ini mengawali era “perang dingin” antara Suzuki bebek dan Yamaha bebek di Sirkuit Balap Ancol.

Pada tahun 1988, Suzuki memproduksi RC100 Sprinter yang merupakan bebek bertipe ayam jago pertama di Indonesia. Perbaikan suspensi depan ni sangat mendongkrak karir Suzuki RC di dunia balap. Pada era itu Suzuki RC100 (Sprinter) mampu bersaing melawan Yamaha Alfa (berkapasitas 102cc), dan boleh dibilang hasil akhirnya adalah imbang.

Namun demikian, pada era pasar senggol (selepas Sirkuit Ancol ditutup pada tahun 1992) kedua motor tersebut jarang sekali bertemu di arena balap di Jakarta (mungkin hanya pada acara Road Race yang diselenggarakan oleh Santana). Hal tersebut diakibatkan karena tiap pabrikan sibuk dengan OMR (One Make Race) masing-masing dan Suzuki sudah memiliki jenis type RC110 (Crystal) semenjak 1990.

Munculnya Sang Legenda Satria R 120:

Suzuki Satria R 120 ini muncul di Indonesia sekitar 2002. Motor ini awalnya berbasis bebek, tapi kekuatan motor sport. Tarikan dan suspensinya bagus. Biarpun berbasis bebek, satria memiliki beberapa fitur motor sport, seperti: persneling sport, kopling manual dll. Jadi Satria R 120 ini tak menjadi sejarah berawalnya Satria F. Karena secara basis dan body semuanya beda.

Sekarang mari kembali ke masa sekarang ketika Suzuki Satria FU 150 sedang laris manisnya bak sabun mandi :D Satria F 150 pertama muncul sekitar awal-awal 2005. Satria ini kembali menghidupkan nenek moyangnya yaitu sprinter RC100. Modelnya sama dengan sprinter, dibekali dengan mesin sport, 150cc menjadikan Satria F 150 sebagai bebek sport terkini. Satria F 150 ini bisa disebut sebagai Satria FU. Huruf "u" disini adalah "sang underbone". Satria F150 ini muncul sebagai 'bebek sakti" di antara bebek-bebek lainnya.

Lahirnya New Prototype=Hyper Underbone
Setelah diluncurkan Suzuki GSX-R600 pada pertengahan 2008, suzuki mengeluarkan satria F baru. Satria F 150 baru ini memiliki spesifikasi yg sama dengan satria tahun 2005. Orang-orang sering mengatakan bahwa Satria FU 150 ini adalah motor yang hebat dan fenomenal. Satria FU 150 ini tetap mencerminkan nenek moyang F yaitu Sprinter RC100. Camera Sony EVIL TouchScreen

Camera Sony EVIL TouchScreen. About a month ago, at the PMA show, images of the EVIL camera came to light. And while they did a great job of showcasing the camera proper, there were some question floating around on how snapping photos would be handled, among a few others. Well, it’s all been answered now, as the latest images of the EVIL’s methods have come out, and show a touchscreen. It also shows us that photographers will also be able to save images in the JPEG and RAW modes. Plus, there’s an APS-C sized sensor in this little guy, which is pretty fantastic on Sony’s part.

Despite the fact that the EVIL is just a camera, Sony has found themselves giving enough to place an onboard tutorial for you, if you do decide that this is the camera for you. While the EVIL camera may not seem like it could be a real DSLR competitor, from what we can see in specifications, we’re wondering if Sony could find a reasonable price tag to go along with this gadget, and therefore definitely woo some potential buyers. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing or availability at this point.

We love gadgets with cool names. And while Sony’s BLOGGIE may take the crown for strangest, the EVIL camera takes the cake for awesome. The EVIL part stands for (Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens), and that basically does a great job of breaking down the core elements of this camera. While the looks may not attract the most hardcore of consumer, it may have enough in the software end of things to make anyone on the fence change their mind, given enough hands-on time with the device.
