Award Survey Blogger Indonesia

Well my friend, have long been writing like this while sharing the award. Kemaren saya berkenalan dengan seorang perempuan cantik. Awalnya sebuah email melayang ke inbox saya, tegur sapa berlanjut via yahoo messenger. Ternyata perempuan satu ini asik juga, dapet teman baru dech... kalau lagi login di yahoo messenger kami selalu bertegur sapa, dia sekarang di Australia. Ayo siapa dia, seorang blogger yang sedang bergiat untuk menyelesaikan penelitian untuk meraih gelar PhD tentang perempuan dan jejaring sosial melalui aktivitas blog (baik online maupun offline). Ketika dia selama proses membaca literatur (literatures review), sepertinya dia sulit untuk menemukan data yang valid (dan reliable dalam arti keabsahan metode penelitian) mengenai penggunaan Internet di Indonesia.

Maka dia ingin melakukan survey secara langsung kepada Blogger Indonesia, baik lelaki maupun perempuan. Melalui Award ini, saya berkeinginan membantunya, selayaknyalah kita sesama blogger saling membantu, maka dalam bentuk award saya sebarkan survei ini. Bagi teman-teman yang pernah memberi saya award, jangan khawatir karena award dari teman-teman telah saya pajang dengan rapi di lemari award saya.

Eko Ramaditya Adikara, Tersandung Plagiator

Eko Ramaditya Adikara, seorang bloger tunanetra, buku karyanya yang berjudul Blind Power: Berdamai dengan Kegelapan, ditarik dari peredaran. Pasalnya, buku itu memuat kebohongan Rama mengenai sejumlah musik game Jepang yang diakui sebagai karyanya.

Pengakuan blogger tunanetra Eko Ramaditya Adikara terkait kebohongan publik yang dilakukannya, membuat kecewa sekaligus kaget jurnalis yang menulis kisah heroiknya. Pepih Nugraha, jurnalis Kompas yang pernah memuat tulisan panjang mengenai sosok Rama, mengungkapkan kekecewaannya.

Buku besutan Grafindo Media Pratama terbit pertama kali tahun 2008. Buku itu telah menginspirasi banyak orang karena berisi kisah hidup Rama, seorang tunanetra yang memiliki banyak talenta.

Keterbatasan fisik tidak menghalangi Rama melakukan aktivitas layaknya manusia normal. Ia mampu bepergian ke mana-mana sendirian dengan angkutan umum, bahkan ke luar pulau, seperti Palembang dan Pontianak. Rama yang dikenal sebagai bloger ini bisa menikmati film dan fasih berbahasa Inggris. Ia juga dikenal sebagai kolumnis bidang teknologi di sebuah situs berita Indonesia.

Rama pencandu berat musik game. Di sinilah ia tersandung. Ia mengklaim bahwa sejumlah musik game Jepang adalah hasil karyanya. Sebuah komunitas pencinta game mendapati bahwa karya-karya itu bukanlah karya Rama.

Miss Spring Blog (Lelang Keperawanan di Ebay)

Miss Spring Blog - Seorang gadis di Hongaria membuat sebuah blog dan membuka penawaran keperwanannya disana dan lelang keperawanan itu berlanjut di situs lelang terbesar saat ini; Ebay. Gadis malang yang berusia sekitar 17 tahun itu dikenal dengan nama Miss Spring melaui blognya. Dari blog inilah gadis berambut blonde itu mendapat ide untuk lelang keperawanannya. Blog yang bernama Miss Spring kalau di artikan kebahasa Indonesia adalah Gadis Musim Semi.

Ternyata ide yang dia tulis di blog nya itu disambut baik oleh ratusan pembaca blognya, tentu saja hal ini dari kaum laki-laki. Kebanjiran respon membuatnya tak bisa menyembunyikan hal itu dan berlanjut ke Ebay serta ibunya pun mengetahuinya, maka Miss Spring akhirnya berterus terang.

Motif pelelangan keperawanan itu adalah karena sang gadis ingin mengambil alih rumah ibunya yang disita lantaran terlilit utang. Ia membuka lelang dengan misi mencari laki-laki 'penyelamat', bukan suami. "Hanya untuk satu malam. Kupikir sebenarnya itu hal yang cukup romantis karena pria yang membayar saya telah membantu menyelamatkan keluarga saya dari tunawisma. Dia akan menjadi penyelamat kami," kata gadis Hongaria (Miss Spring) itu.

Di eBay, seorang pengusaha asal Inggris berani mengajukan penawaran dengan angka £100 ribu atau sekitar Rp1,4 miliar. Tawaran itu menutup lelang. Namun, Miss Spring yang semula setuju menerima hasil akhir lelang membatalkan kesepakatan gara-gara sang pengusaha meminangnya sebagai istri. "Saya tidak mau karena saya tidak mencari suami, saya hanya melakukannya untuk keluarga saya," ujarnya.

Kini berita tentang pembatalan lelang itu menjadi hot news di Hongaria. Difasilitasi sebuah stasiun televisi setempat, lelang akhirnya kembali dibuka pekan ini dan diharapkan mampu menjaring penawaran lebih tinggi. Gadis yang mengaku tak pernah memiliki kekasih ini sangat mencintai keluarganya. Selain ibunya, ia hidup bersama adiknya yang masih berusia 20 bulan. "Ada media menyebut saya martir, tapi banyak juga yang menyebut saya pelacur. Saya tak peduli. Saya hanya seorang gadis yang ingin memiliki masa depan lebih baik agar bisa mengurus keluarga." ucap Miss Spring, Bagaimana tanggapan anda atas kejadian ini? Blogger dan Hari Anak Nasional

Oh.. Rupanya hari ini adalah Hari anak Nasional ya? Baru ingat.. Hehehe.. Soalnya saya tidak pernah merasakan seperti apa itu Hari Anak Nasional, palingan cuma seremonial belaka. Baru saja saya baca di situs portal Berita Riau (riauterkini.com) sebuah ironi pada Hari Anak Nasional. Masih banyak anak-anak yang putus sekolah malah tidak mengecap sama sekali bangku pendidikan. Alasan klasik memang kalau pandidikan terlalu mahal, yah dari dulu sampai sekarang tetap mahal walau pemerintah berkoar-koar dengan pendidikan gratis katanya.

OK itu hanya sekilas saja sisi lain Hari Anak Nasional, sebagai seorang Blogger saya akan bercerita sekilas seputar dunia maya ini terkait dengan anak-anak. Internet sama kita ketahui adalah dunia maya yang bisa baik dan bisa buruk. Terkait anak-anak yang sudah melek teknologi tentunya mereka sudah bisa berselancar dengan internet. Bisa menambah wawasan mereka, mempermudah mengerjakan PR ;) dan lain sebagainya. Sisi buruknya? Yah tentu tak kalah banyak dengan sisi baiknya tadi. Salah satunya adalah kontent pornografi. Apalagi marak diberitakan di TV.

Ini ilustrasinya: anda dan anak anda tentu menonton info gossip murahan itu bukan? malahan menjadi santapan anda tiap hari? Hmm.. anda penasaran dengan Video Luna Maya dan Ariel ? atau Ariel dan Cut Tari? Barangkali anda fans beratnya Ariel? Tentu saja anak anda yang disamping anda sewaktu menonton juga penasaran, karena dia juga fans beratnya Ariel.

Disore hari sepulang sekolah anak anda langsung masuk kamar, karena anda orang yang berada, tersedia kompi dan terkoneksi dengan internet. Hmm.. anda telah measang sofwer pemblokir situs porno? Karena penasaran dia pun langsung cabut ke warnet. Sekarang apa yang bisa anda lakukan? Anak anda dengan mudahnya mengkonsumsi konten-konten pornografi itu. Caranya sangat mudah tinggal buka situs search engine GOOGLE dan mengetikkan keyword (KW) Video Ariel dan Luna Maya, atau dia sudah mengenal kata-kata bokep? ok, maka dia akan mengetikkan Video Bokep Ariel dan Luna Maya. Maka keluarlah beratus,beribu, hingga berjuta hasil pencarian tentang KW yang dia inginkan.

Nah.. apa upaya anda? Sebagai seorang Blogger, APA UPAYA ANDA??? untuk meminimalisir hal itu atau paling tidak memfilter hasil pencarian itu? Hmm.. bercerita tentang blogger saya teringat tentang Pesta Blogger Ningrat. Katanya itu adalah ajang pertemuan blogger seluruh Indonesia. Katanya lagi disana dibicarakan tentang bagaimana blogger bisa turut andil dalam memajukan bangsa ini. Namun saya lihat itu juga hanya sekedar seremonial belaka alias ajang TePe-Tepe. Apakah ada langkah kongkrit yang dilakukan dari hasil Pesta Blogger itu?

Sebagai Blogger Matre, "kita" punya cara sendiri ketika sebuah issu tentang fornografi melayang ke ranah publik seperti kasus Video Ariel dan Luna Maya. Tentu saja Blogger Matre paham tentang SEO, nah saya bermain disana. Mengoptimasi KW itu supaya masuk page 1 Google, tapi isi dari konten yang saya buat tidak sama sekali menampilkan Video nya apalagi menyebarkan link download video tersebut. Secara logika dengan KW yang kita cari di google otomatis kita akan klik hasil pencarian di page 1 google.

Ketika page 1 google sudah di kuasai oleh para SEOer dan tentu saja hanya "nembak KW." Kesimpulannya ketika para Blogger Matre ini telah menguasai page 1 google dengan KW itu otomatis telah memfilter atau mensterilisasi page 1 google dari kontent fornografi. Saya rasa ini salah satu cara yang ampuh. Karena para anak-anak dan yang masih awam tentang internet dia hanya akan mencari melalui google.

Walau kadang Bloger Matre dianggap nyampah oleh sebagian Blogger Ningrat lainnya. Karena katanya Blogger Matre hanya Blogger Copas yang nyampah di Internet. Jiahaha.. itu sih katanya, lho buktinya saya bisa bikin tulisan seperti ini, (lmao) boleh juga lihat blog saya yang lain. Tapi itu semua kembali pada diri kita masing-masing, karena tidak ada patokan dan kode etik resmi untuk menjadi seorang blogger bukan? Wong ini blog saya, ya suka-suka saya dunk. Nah itu akibat tentang tidak adanya kode etik, dan banyak juga para blogger yang isi blognya menghujat, mencaci maki, tentang sara dan blog-blog yang merusak lainnya. Sampai detik ini kode etik Blogger Indonesia tidak ada. Katanya masalah kode etik ini masih diperdebatkan. Menurut saya kode etik itu perlu. Karena kita sudah punya wadah untuk itu.

WordPress 3.0 is More Stable

Good news for the bloggers. WordPress, one of the most popular blog portals around the world finally launched its latest version which is recognized more
steady.

Version 3.0 is the thirteenth version of the software that was launched WordPress. In the quotation from English Sina, Friday (18/06/2010), there were 2700 changes including the 1217 bug fixes are done by 218 people.

Satu lagi fitur baru di blogger.com, kemaren ada Blogger Template Designer in Draft, sekarang makin canggih lagi, dulunya kalau kita sedang buat postingan di editor blogger.com kalau maua lihat tampilan post kita sebelum di publis kan hanya terlihat putih polos. Sekarang tidak lagi, kita bisa melihat Preview postingan kita langsung seperti apa nantinya yang mucul di blog.

Pada halaman Post New, klik pada tombol Gambar (ini adalah tombol baru yang kita baru saja ditambahkan), dan kita akan melihat jendela baru terbuka dengan preview post. Ini adalah bagaimana posting blog Anda akan muncul untuk pembaca blog kita ketika kita menekan mempublikasikan, dengan format yang sama dan gaya dari template yang kita gunakan.

Perlu diketahui bahwa halaman pratinjau tidak secara otomatis memperbarui sebagai isi dari posting perubahan. Untuk memastikan posting tersebut terlihat OK setelah kita selesai mengedit lebih lanjut, kita dapat memperbarui halaman pratinjau secara manual, atau klik tombol Pratinjau lagi. PleaseRobMe.Com Twitter Sang Penyamun

Akhirnya saya menemukan situs (PleaseRobMe.Com) yang membuat jera para pengguna jejaring sosial seperti Facebook dan Twitter. Apakah anda sudah tahu tentang PleaseRobMe.Com sebuah situs yang mengumpulkan update status anda di Twitter ataupun Facebook ? Situs ini dapat memperlihatkan tanpa sensor keberadaan anda dimanapun ketika anda memberi tahunya di media daring itu. Misalnya anda sedang bepergian entah kemana, apa itu berlibur? Shoping? ataupun sedang dikantor sementara itu rumah anda dalam keadaan kosong. Nah siap-siapa saja para perampok yang melek internet menyikat isi rumah anda.

Situs Please Rob Me ini sempat menuai protes keras di kalangan para pengguna internet. Pasalnya seperti yang saya sebutkan di paragraf pertama, situs tersebut menampilkan update terbaru para pengguna Twitter dan Facebook yang tengah meninggalkan rumah mereka. Kritik tajam dilayangkan para aktivis hak privasi kepada pendiri situs yang beralamat di PleaseRobMe.Com ini karena informasi tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan perampok untuk melakukan aksinya, dan mencari 'mangsa' rumah-rumah yang sedang ditinggalkan penghuninya.

Malah Simon Davies sang Direktur Privacy International Campaign Group mengatakan pembuat Please Rob Me sangat tidak bertanggung jawab. Namun hal itu dibantah oleh tiga orang pendiri Please Rob Me, mereka adalah Frank Groeneveld, Boy Von Amstel, dan Charity Crimestoppers. Mereka mengungkapkan, tujuan dari membuat situs PleaseRobMe.Com itu justru untuk mengingatkan salah satu bahaya pemakaian situs jejaring sosial yang tengah marak.

Mereka memberikan contoh, aplikasi situs jejaring sosial dengan fungsi berbagi lokasi bernama Foursquare (http://foursquare.com/) misalnya, dapat memberitahukan dengan jelas lokasi keberadaan pengguna. Setelah saya cek situs Foursquare memang begitu adanya.

"Fungsi ini bisa saja menjadikan mereka sasaran empuk dari para perampok. Foursquare menampilkan pergerakan penggunanya. Keberadaan mereka dapat dengan mudah ditemukan hanya dengan memasukkan nama kota atau username Twitter," terang Groeneveld mewakili kedua temannya.

Charity Crimestoppers menyebutkan situs mereka mengingatkan pengguna situs jejaring sosial untuk berhati-hati sebelum memposting informasi yang akan mereka bagi di internet. Saya sangat setuju dengan pendapat para pendiri PleaseRobMe.Com, ini adalah salah satu damfak negetif situs jejaring sosial dan mereka dapat memperingati anda dengan adanya PleaseRobMe.Com. Selain itu saya juga kurang suka dengan gaya anak muda di negeri ini yang mempunyai sifat publikasi diri yang berlebihan di internet dan ujung-ujungnya terjadi hal-hal yang tidak di inginkan, seperti kasus anak dibawah umur di culik yang berawal perkenalan di Facebook dan tersebarnya Foto Telanjang Clara Adheline Supit di Facebook

Walau saya sepaham dengan apa yang dikatakan pendiri PleaseRobMe.Com tapi cuma kepala yang sama hitam, pendapat boleh saja berbeda, maka si Simon Davies sang Direktur Privacy International Campaign Group bersikukuh bahwa situs ini lebih berfungsi sebagai alat bantu bagi perampok ketimbang meningkatkan kewaspadaan dalam menggunakan situs jejaring sosial. Terakhir pagi ini waktu saya kunjungi situs Please Rob Me itu sepertinya sudah kurang aktif lagi, saya menemukan ini:

Bukan Sekedar Blogger Bertuah, Break up

Kontes SEO Bukan Sekedar Blogger Bertuah tak sampai 24 jam lagi akan segera berakhir. Nanti siang Komunitas Blogger Pekanbaru (Blogger Bertuah) akan mengadakan Kopi Darat sekaligus pengumuman Kontes SEO Bukan Sekedar Blogger Bertuah. Posisi teratas masih dipegang oleh blog Tukiran (manajemenemosi.blogspot.com) posisi ke dua ada www.zaifulanwar.com, posisi 3 adalah laksamana.dagdigdug.com dan empat laksamana-embun.blogspot.com dan beberapa blog lainnya yang turut berpartisipasi di kontes SEO dengan keyword Bukan Sekedar Blogger Bertuah.

Namun posisi serp itu masih belum pasti bertahan hingga waktu yang tidak ditentukan. Apalagi sampai nanti siang. Karena SEO itu ilmu ghaib begitu kata kawan-kawan di Blogger Gurem. Nah dari pada puyeng mikirin siapa yang akan jadi pemenang mending kita bersama "Blogger Bertuah" untuk hadir dalam acara silaturrahim "Kopdar" pada pukul dua siang nanti di Loby lantai 2 Gedung Bappeda Kota Pekanbaru (Komplek Kantor Walikota Pekanbaru). Nah apakah lebih baik kalau postingan itu di beri h2? karena koding h1, h2, h3 etc itu membari tahu search engine mana yang paling penting yang ada di dalam blog kita.
